At PassHaven, your privacy is not just a feature — it’s a foundation. We believe you should have full control over your data, and that begins with transparency.

1. No Tracking, No Ads, No Hidden Analytics

We don’t track your behavior, install cookies, or serve advertisements. PassHaven does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information about how you use the app or website.

There are no analytics scripts, no data profiling, and no third-party ad networks. We respect your privacy at every level.

2. What We Do Store

The only data stored on our servers is what you choose to save in the PassHaven application. That includes:

  • The hash of your Master Password
  • Your saved credentials (service names, usernames, etc.)
  • The encrypted form of your passwords

All data is encrypted using strong, modern cryptography before it ever leaves your device. We never have access to your decrypted data — not now, not ever.

3. Your Master Password Is Yours Alone

Your master password is never transmitted to us and is never stored, even in encrypted form. This means:

  • We cannot reset your master password.
  • We cannot access your vault, even if we wanted to.
  • You are in complete control of your encryption keys.

If you lose your master password, your encrypted data will remain on our servers, but we will not be able to decrypt it.

4. Cloud Storage, Local Control

While PassHaven stores encrypted data on secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure for reliability and convenience, all encryption and decryption happens on your device.

This hybrid model ensures:

  • You get the benefits of cloud-based access without the risks of cloud-based compromise.
  • No sensitive data is ever exposed in transit or at rest in a readable form.

5. No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share your data with:

  • Advertisers
  • Analytics platforms
  • Data brokers
  • Or anyone else
