PassHaven Help – Vault
Service This is a name that you provide for an item in the vault.
URL The website address of the Service.
User Name The username needed to log into the Service.
Password The password needed to log into the Service.
Generate Opens the form below to create a password
Exclude Used to exclude certain characters. Some find it easier to exclude l “el” (mistaken for 1 or capital i) or 0 “zero”
Length How long do you want the created password to be?
Save Saves the current Service, URL, User Name and Password.
Clear Clears the Service, URL, Username and Password fields.
This will copy to the clipboard the appropriate item (URL, User Name or Password).
This will open the URL and show the Fill screen (see below).
This will copy the User Name or Password and then hop back to the browser and Paste.
Toggles being able to see the Password in clear text.
Delete This will delete the service highlighted in the list box.
Settings Brings up the Settings screen.
This Fill screen will stay in view until used or closed.
Fill and Enter will fill in the user name, TAB once, fill in the password and then submit the form.
Fill Only will only fill in the user name and password fields.
Cancel closes the form.
To use the Fill form, click inside of the Username field (within the website you wish to log into) and press either the Fill and Enter button or the Fill Only button.
